Ski trip to Mountain High on March 16, Sunday

Dear alumni and friends:

Excited for the coming spring break? We're going to have fun at Mountain High before the snow season is over! Peking University Alumni Association of Southern California (PUAASC) is organizing a ski trip to Mt. High on March 16 (Sunday). We cordially invite you, your family and friends to join this great trip.

If we have more than 15 people, the cost (lift ticket and rental) will be about $70 for adult and $53 for child ages 12 or under. We strongly encourage carpooling, so that we can share the cost of gas, parking fees and fun. If you need or are willing to provide carpool, please let us know.

You can contact Chunlei Xia at cxia@usc.edu or 213-820-8406, or Jing Sun at jingsun70@yahoo.com or 626-226-8773 if you need further information. To RSVP, please include your name, number of guests, phone number, zip code or city name (so that we can arrange carpool). We will be meeting near the ticket office at 8:30 AM.

When: March 16 (Sunday), 8:30 AM

Where: Mountain High Resort Ticket Office

24510 State Highway 2

Wrightwood, CA 92397

Tips:

1. Bring lots of warm clothes!!! You will be best off if you have snow pants and jacket. This is a ski trip, so it might be very cold and snowy. Bring extra clothes in case your clothes get wet. It's a good idea to dress in layers, so if you get hot, you can take off a layer, or add a layer if you get cold. This is especially important if you don't have ski pants/jacket.

2. Gloves and a hat are also necessary. Just because it will be cold doesn't mean it won't be sunny, so be prepared with sunscreen and sunglasses or ski goggles.

3. Bring money for food. Food is usually expensive at ski lodges. Bring water and stay hydrated!

4. In order to check the equipment out, the rental place will need your driver's license and credit card number.

DISCLAIMER: As the organizer, we provide as much information and guidance as we can to ensure a happy trip, but we assume no responsibility for how it is used by individuals, nor for any possible injuries or accidents.

Best regards,
