PUAASC will hold its Annual Convention & Lunch Banquet at San Gabriel Hilton

Hotel on Sunday, September 18, 2005, the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

 

When the moon is full, it is time for family and friends to re-unite.

 

Let’s get together with our Bei Da family and friends to celebrate the

Mid-Autumn Festival, a time that brings particular warmth and ease to the

hearts of the Chinese.

Dr. Jason Cong (PKU alumnus), Chair, Department of Computer Science,

UCLA, a distinguished scholar and entrepreneur

Dr. Zhaohua Chang, Chair of Board of Directors of Microport Medical, a

star Hai Gui in Shanghai’s Zhangjiang High-Tech Park

---Games and Prize Drawing

Prizes include an iFP-795 MP3 player, a jewelry set, a nicely packed box

of famous brand moon cakes, phone cards, etc.

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch Banquet

12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Entertainment and Social

 

REGISTRATION:

1) ON-LINE at http://www.pku.org/rsvp

$14 for regular attendees, $8 for students (please bring a valid student

ID to the convention) and kids who will occupy banquet seats. The deadline for

on-line payment has been extended to September 16, 2005 to guarantee the seats.

No check payment is now acceptable.

2) ON-SITE:

$15 for regular attendees, $10 for students (please bring a valid

student ID to the convention) and kids who will occupy banquet seats.

 

We have reserved 150 banquet seats with a ~$30 menu of Chinese food for each

seat. Seats will be available on first-come-first-serve basis and will only be

guaranteed with advanced payment.

 

PARKING:

The hotel charges $5 for self-parking and $8 for valet parking.

Street parking is available near the hotel.
