Announcement of the 2005 Song Zu Mei picnic

Dear Alumni:

 

The 4th Song-Zhu-Mei Picnic, hosted by Tsinghua, Chiao Tung/Jiao Tong, and

Beijing University Alumni Associations of Southern California and co-hosted by a

number of sister alumni & professional associations, will take place on Saturday

9/24/2005 at Irvine Mason Park. Please spread the news, bring your family and

friends, and have a great day of fun.

 

The program includes picnic, tug-of-war (Ba2He2), relay race, volleyball, games,

prizes, and more. Online Reservation by 9/22 is strongly recommended to allow

adequate food preparation:

William R Mason Regional Park

Shelter # 1 (at the NW corner of the Park, same location as last year)

The Park is located in the City of Irvine. To reach the park take the San Diego

Freeway (405) to the Culver Avenue turnoff. Head south on Culver to University

Drive, then west (right) to the park entrance.

Admission:

Regular: $10 with reservation, $12 on site.

Full time students, children under 16, and seniors over 60:

$5 with reservation, $6 on site.

Children under 10: Free.

 

Parking:

$5 per vehicle entry to the Park. Use car pool to save. (Note: Free parking is

possible on the church parking lots located at the NW corner of Harvard Blvd. &

University Dr. across the streets from the west exit of the Park)
