One of the Top Ten things you Must Do in Southern California:
Cherry-Picking in Middle of JUNE
Here comes the cherry picking season again! Initialized by Chinese
Student and Scholar Association (CSSA) of Caltech, SW-CSSA Union invites CSSAs in Southern California (UCLA, USC, UCI, UCSB, UCR, CSU-LB,
CSA-Fullerton, and CSU-LA etc.) come together to have a
relaxing weekend getaway after the final exams. You can "taste fresh,
big, juicy shining cherries, have a breathtaking view of Leona Valley". You will also have a chance to meet a lot of friends and play
games together there. Peking University Alumni Association at Southern
California will also participate and help with this coordinated event.
Also be a spectator: "On that day, there will be their annual parade
from 10am to 12pm".
Unique Feature in Leona Valley:
Free parking
Nice and wide open picnic area.
No entry fee or minimum purchase
As far as Caltech CSSA knew last year: their cherries are also very
nice ^_^
What else can you ask?
