Also, the PUAASC/CAST-LA/CSA-SC Spring Gathering on 2/23 is just 10 days away.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to gladly announce that PUAASC
Executive VP and Secretary General Connie Yuan gave birth to her first baby
just before the Chinese New Year. Connie has devoted a lot of time for various
PUAASC activities including last year's PKU, Tsinghua and Jiaoda joint alumni
gathering, tax seminar, annual convention with speakers Shu Chien and Fu-Kuan
Lin, and many more community activity involvements on behalf of PUAASC.

WHO: 2002 National Champion UCLA Men's Soccer Team
Shanghai Shenhua of China (the original team)
WHAT: UCLA will play Shanghai Shenhua in its third and final match in
California. Shanghai Shenhua is in the Finalists Group of the Asian
Football Confederation Champions League and is preparing for the
upcoming Chinese League season.
Previously, Shenhua faced Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes
and the Los Angeles Galaxy. In the off season, Shenhua signed the
Chinese League's leading goal scorer, Zhang Yuning, from Liaoning

WHERE: East Los Angeles College Monterey Park, CA
East Los Angeles College is located between Interstates 60 and 10.
The stadium is located at the corner of Atlantic Blvd. and Floral.
The stadium can hold 20,000 people.

Gates open at noon on February 15.
Tickets are available for purchase to the general public on game day
for $10 per person.
People who make reservation through our website will get the ticket
for $9 per person on the day of the game, at a special ticket window
marked "CSSA-UCLA" (Please present your photo ID). Reserve now at

Reservation will close at 10:00 am Saturday 2/15.
Please note that the registration from CSSA-UCLA website is NOT
limited to CSSA members, everybody interested is welcome to attend,

the tickets, so come early to get the front row seats!
