Dear Alumni
In order to enhance the communications among all San Diego PKU alumni, PKU
alumni association(PKUAA) plan to have a party this Sunday. The detailed
information is as follows,
When: Nov 11th( Sunday ) between 2:00pm and 9:00pm
Where: SIO house near the sea, the location where mid-autumn CSSA
party was held. The driving direction will be given in the
following.
Who may attend: All PKU alumni and their family
What activities: BBQ, Karaoke, volleyball and flyer(fei pan) at the
shore, recruitment for the PKUAA committees:).
Fee: Free for new students, $3 for each person.
Driving Direction:
1. Go west along La Jolla Village Dr. Then La Jolla Village Dr becomes
Torry Pine Rd.
2. Turn Left on La Jolla Shores Drive and go all the way down the hill,
then turn right at Grande Street. There are parking
lot P002 and P003, but UCSD with SIO permit is required. You can
park on the street.
If you don't drive, 34 bus goes there.

Some announcements will be made by Li Ming who came back to China for an
alumni-related trip at Oct. You may find some useful information there.
Also it is a good opportunity to meet most San Diego PKU alumni, and add
some flavor to your spare life at San Diego. So please come!
For those of you who need a ride, please contact me via email as soon as
possible. I will try to find someone to pick you up! Please do not wait
until the last minute for pick up!
This party is sponsored by Graduate Student Association(GSA) of UCSD. Also
all the PKUAA committees are working hard to prepare all the stuff needed
for the party. Without their kind support and effort, this party is not
possible.
