It is our honor to host a reception for Dr. Zhou Qifeng, President of Peking University, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and deputy of the 11th National People's Congress of China (2008-2012). Join the San Diego Chinese community and the Peking University Alumni Association, San Diego Chapter in celebration of President Zhou Qifeng’s first visit to San Diego. Meet President Zhou and find updates on university affairs, outlooks on China’s higher education, opportunities to become a Sea Turtle, and prospects of establishing research collaborations with Peking University. Zhou Qifeng is President of Peking University, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and deputy of the 11th National People's Congress of PRC (2008-2012). Zhou served as the Executive Dean of the Graduate School of Peking University for six years, the Director-General of the Office of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, Director-General of Department of Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education for three years, and the President of Jilin University for four years.
