Happy New Year!
On 1/16 and 1/17, 2010, there will be an Asian American Expo（华人工商大展） at Pomona Fairplex. It is a major community event for the Chinese Americans living in the Southern Californina area. The two-day event will be like a traditional street fair for the comming Chinese New Year. Many thanks to Lotus Hygiene Systems（莲花卫浴公司）, a PKU alumnus's company, this year PUAASC will be able to share a booth with Lotus to promote our organization. Our booth is located at Hall 5 booth 5303, near the entrance of Hall 5. Please stop by our booth if you go to the Expo. You can pick up a 2010 calendars with beautiful photos of PKU campus that we ordered from PKUAA for our members.
Also, our executive committee will offer 20 free tickets for volunteers and students. If you want to be a voluteer at our booth, or if you are a student who wants to see the show, please contact Yi Wang at stephanieuci@gmail.com or Fan Xiao at michille521@gmail.com. Please contact Yi and Fan ASAP since we give out the tickets on first-come first-served basis.
