Since our May 13th first donation request, as of today, June 16, 2008, we have proudly received more than $17,000 donations, pledges and corporate matches. Thank you – PKU alumni and friends; thank you for your generosity and kindness!

All donations will be sent to PKUEF (Peking University Education Foundation USA www.pkuf.org) for the purpose of rebuilding the schools destroyed during the earthquake and the children in the disaster area.

Both PUAASC and PKUEF will NOT charge any overhead on the donations collected, and 100% of the donations will be used for the schools and children. Both PUAASC and PKUEF are non-profit tax-exempt organizations and both are 501(c)(3) organizations. Your donations are fully tax deductible.

We are continuing our effort and calling for donations, and it’s never too late to help rebuild schools and to aid children who lost so much in the devastating earthquake in Sichuan. Many corporations offer donation match programs, so please take advantage if your company matches.

Two ways to donate:

1. Send a check payable to “PUAASC- for the relief of Sichuan earthquake”, 927 Victoria Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007. If you would like to have a receipt, please provide an email address for receipt to be emailed to save time and postages.

2. Donate online via Paypal button on our home page now by the link of www.pku.org. Your receipt will be emailed to your email address provided by Paypal.
