Saturday Cherry U-Pick Family Fun Event

Dear alumni and friends:


For those who live in southern California, cherry picking is among the top ten things that you MUST DO, and now finally comes the 2008 cherry season. Peking University Alumni Association of Southern California (PUAASC) is organizing a cherry U-Pick event to Wohlgemuth's Organic Cherry Orchard, Beaumont on June 21 (Saturday), 2008. We sincerely invite you and your friends to join this event.


Wohlgemuth's Organic Cherry Orchard locates in the beautiful foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, about 80 miles east of downtown LA. They have 12 acres of pristine cherry trees. With the farm officially openning on June 13th, we expects a lot of fresh, tasty cherries on 21st. The Entrance Fee is $4 per person 13 years and older. The price per pound may vary during the season, but is $3 at this time.

Since the gas would be about $20~30, we strongly encourage carpooling and sharing the gas cost.
