Grand Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall on August 7

Dear friends:

For the first time in history, Chinese-Americans will present a grand concert at the world famous Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles!

On behalf of over 5,000 members of the Roundtable of Southern California Chinese-American Organizations (ROSCCAO), the producer of the event, we delightedly invite you to attend the YELLOW RIVER CANTATA CONCERT presented by Chinese-American Orchestra & Chorus entitled “For the Global Peace -- In Memory of the Ending of World War II”. This Concert is dedicated to the world peace and US-China friendship in commemorating the end of World War II in which Chinese, Americans, Jewish, European and people from many nations suffered and then fought together for the victory.

The Concert features world class conductor Jinyi Jiang, pianist Tian Jiang, violinist Xi Chen, soloists Yu Sun, Ying Huang, and Yanrong Zhang, as well as an orchestra and chorus of more than 200 performers.

The Concert is co-produced by the Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan LLP, Chinese CEO Organization, Beijing Association, and Wen Zhou Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.

The Concert will be held at the magnificent new Walt Disney Concert Hall on Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $25, $35, $55, and $105. It is very reasonably priced considering a tour of the concert hall costs $10-$15. Please see http://www.YellowRiver2005.org and you may purchase tickets online with your credit card.

We need hundreds of volunteers to help us successfully promoting the Concert in not only Chinese-American but also main-stream communities. If you are interested, please send a message to YellowRiver2005@rosccao.org. If you work in a Fortune 500 company and you would like to help to deliver an invitation letter from the producer to your company’s local head or HR director, please also let us know at YellowRiver2005@rosccao.org.
