Dear alumni,
On the evening of Saturday April 24, Cal State San Bernardino will hold a grand
fund raising dinner featuring leading Yunnan Artist Mr. Ting, Shao Kuang and
He, Neng. Our alumna Prof. Xiwen Zhang is the main organizer.
The event includes reception, art preview, dinner (a $40 value), and featured
presentations by the artists (in Chinese and English). The audience will be a
mixture of American and Chinese businessmen, artists, professors and students.
The regular admission is $100 per person.
Dr. Richard Lee, PUAASC Board Chairman, is one of the sponsors of the event. He
donated 8 seats for free admission for student and low income alumni. If you
are interested, please fill in the following form and send it to
sikun@yahoo.com by Tuesday 4/20. Free seats are available on the first come
first serve basis.
For those of you who would go, you could meet and carpool at Qiao2 Bao4 (2121
West Mission Road, Alhambra, CA 91803) at 4 PM right after the PUAASC Financial
Seminar (see our previous announcement).

Dear Friends,
California State University, San Bernardino and the United States Pacific Rim
Chamber Cordially invites you to a dinner and Auction to Benefit the China,
Yunnan Art Exhibit on April 24, 2004.
The fund raising dinner and auction comes as a teaser to the upcoming China,
Yunnan Art Exhibit, which will be held at Cal State San Bernardino's Fullerton
Art Museum later this summer. The exhibition will feature artworks from faculty
and students from Yunnan University and local leading artists Mr. Ting, Shao
Kuang and He, Neng.
The dinner will be held on the campus of California State University, San
Bernardino. The reception and preview of the art will be at
5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. The program will begin at 7 p.m. The
world-renowned artists Ting, Shao Kuang and He, Neng will give presentations.
