Southern California Chinese American Community Celebrates the 54th Anniversary
of the Founding of the People's Republic of China
The Flag Ceremony has been a major event sponsored by the local Chinese
American communities to honor their motherland. Under the USA and China flags,
Chinese Americans have promoted co-operation and exchange across the Pacific.
PUAASC is participating and contributing to the event organization. Please mark
your calendar and join us for this special occasion.

Event: Flag ceremony, singing, dancing, and Peking Opera performances
Admission: Free. Gifts and drinks will be provided.

From the 10 Freeway: Going either east or west, exit Garfield Avenue. Take
Garfield south and turn right on Newmark Avenue.
From the 60 Freeway: Exit the freeway at Garfield/Wilcox Avenue exit. Turn
right at the 2nd traffic signal (if you go east on the 60, then it is the first
traffic signal). This is Garfield. Take Garfield north for about 1.5 miles.
Turn left on Newmark Avenue.
