Dear Alumni,
It is our great pleasure to announce that this years PUAASC annual convention
will be held on Saturday May 18, 2002 in the China Press Culture Center,
Alhambra. For the first time in history, this alumni gathering will be
co-hosted by the Peking University Alumni Association (PUAASC) and Beijing
Medical University Alumni Association (BMUAA). Let's make new friends and have
fun!
We are proud to announce that two world-class biotech scholars Dr. Chien Shu
and Dr. Fu-Kuen Lin (see bios at the end of this message) will deliver keynote
speeches at the alumni gathering. Dr. Chien Shu entered Peking University
Medical School in 1947 and therefore he is an alumnus of both Peking University
and Beijing Medical University (now the Peking University Medical School).
A rich variety of activities including social time, ballroom dance, and career-
oriented discussions have been prepared for this great event. There will be
lots of fun and excitement in the gathering. We sincerely invite all alumni and
