Invited by the State of California and the Chancellor of the California

State University,

the following Peking University delegation will visit California from July

7 to 14:

Yang Kaizhong, Dean, Department of City and Environment Management

Wang Puqu, Dean, Department of Public Administration

Huang Wen, Director of International Exchange

Zhao Zhiren, Vice Dean, Department of Public Administration

Zhang Yifan, Advisor

Wang Xiaoyue, Vice Director, Graduate School Department of Education

 

During the visit, Prof. Chi and delegation will sign cooperative education

program

between CSU and PKU for the support of China's massive government employee

education. The delegation will visit State Capital in Sacramental and meet the

Vice Governor of California. Further, Prof. Chi will speak at the prestigious

Los Angeles World Affairs Forum.

 

Four reporters of CCTV will follow the delegation and provide instant news

reports.

 

Due to tight schedule and the fact that the delegation was invited by CSU,

PUAASC

will not organize alumni gathering with the delegation. A few alumni were

invited to

the CSU's banquet honoring the delegation on 7/8. PUAASC arranged an informal

meeting with the delegation on Saturday 7/7 at 8:30 PM at the delegation's

hotel:
